hi krazy kanuk . im from montreal too ,you kinda have to be krazy to own a c63 in montreal . i know this sounds lame but have you tried a merc dealer ,who better to evaluate your merc than a merc dealer . also have you considered a lawyer as sometimes a call from one can advance your cause , might be worth a few bucks trying as i think a salesman from the dealer told me these engines are worth 40grand . good luck .

If you don't have any mods that could be linked to the engine failure, then your best/safest option is to get the analysis done by aan MB dealership.
