Any way to not run bulbs in eyebrow?
Hi all,
After blowing LED's left and right every two months, I'm pretty much sick of going that route and want to remove all bulbs from the eyebrows entirely.
Obviously, that means I'll throw 4 error codes upon startup. The only alternative is to buy some blue-ish white halogen bulbs but quite frankly, I'm not fond of how they look in the eyebrow so would rather delete them all entirely.
Anyone know how I could do this without throwing codes? They sell resistor packs but all of them look to bulky to fit into the housing.
Thanks

LEDs were nothing but a PITA, I found.
I had some nice white looking halogens in the last car and I think I may still have
extras. Ill take a look for what they were. I rotated through a few, GE Sylvania PIAA etc
and cant remember where I ended up. They were definitely white and not bluish tho.

I use AZN LEDs. Have not had a single issue with it. They're bright as hell and error free.
Have your tried AZN? & if your dead set on not having any light in the eye brows maybe just desolder the LED off the CANBUS bulb and let the resistors work for you? (Just a suggestion, no idea if that would actually work)

There is a non-led option, I don't remember name but I will try and find it for you.
You can use resistors if you don't want the lights.

Same issue I had in the past. W204's and LED's don't mix. I got rid of all the LED's on the car for PIAA Super white 194's. Couldn't be happier.

You have also only had your car for a few months. They will eventually mess up.

Too true. In fairness, so do most of the long term guys around here.
There is a very enjoyable aspect to these cars, this site etc but there are some things that just kind of drag you down. Everybody here is more like a relative than a friend, in the sense that you can't pick the relatives either, and its like we are stuck at one long thanksgiving dinner where your annoying uncle keeps showing up. Your two choices are to not go to dinner, or listen to him yap. You go cos you are looking forward to talking with some cousins but you know that sooner or later .......oh crap. HE's here. Can somebody just shut him up so the sane people can talk? lol

Yea, that king of the streets (or whatever) thread was starting to get to me. Do we not have mods on this forum? I havent seen one yet, on the other forums I'm on racing on the streets would get the thread locked, much less a douche racing on the streets and trying to defend his actions
AZN provides great service as others have noticed and provided me with tons of replacements, but I'm just over having to swap them out regularly at this point.

These are the bulbs that I use if you still want to give LEDs a shot.

The LEDs I have used run error free but die/play up within a couple of years.
