Polyurethane Lip Options?
Hey guys,
I've seen several front lip options out there but all of them are carbon.
Has anyone seen any offered in polyurethane?
I've searched here, google, and fleabay...nothing.
Looking for one that will fit a 2012 sedan.
On my 997TT, I was replacing that lip about once a year or sooner.
Granted, the lip was only about 3.25" off the ground.
I would scrape daily on my driveway upon entering.
I just can't justify the cost for carbon ones since they inevitably get damaged.
Thanks
Drew

There's a plastic Arkym lip, but it's actually more expensive than an Arkym style lip from RW carbon.

This is the only non carbon lip I know of.

I think OP is trying to find something for super cheap as he cracks his alot. Short answer would honestly be, buy the cheap CF ones of ebay if its gonna crack in a year. I think they will hold up that long and they wont yellow by then.
Otherwise, I would just trade out the front center lip for a nice CF one and be done without a full lip.

While that technically works....

Pretty much CF is all thats left.
$299 is about as cheap as it gets now.
But do you know where to get the center spoiler portion in CF?

1 is through Mode Carbon. I think they are the only company that makes a direct replacement for just the front lip in CF.

Thats a link and its $580.
2, wrap it in a glossy carbon fiber wrap. Thats what I did. I couldnt justify paying so much for a small piece of carbon that I knew had a high chance of getting scratched and/or broken. Here's a pic of the wrap, looks as close to the real thing as I've ever seen. I also wrapped the DRL in it for continuity.

That looks pretty good. Do you know what you used for wrap?
Do it yourself or have someone do it for you?

Thanks for all the replies guys.
It's not that I'm trying to cheap out on it, nor do I think I'll beat it up too bad.
This car is also a good bit higher than the 911.
I was just hoping there was a good polyurethane option out there.

Maybe look into the Vath lip if you have a PFL. Give you a bit more of ground clearance and still keep that aggressive look.
