Need help with cats
So unfortunately its the time of the year for me to do state inspection and I need to put cats back on in order to pass. But I'm not planning to swap the stock ones back in.
I'm thinking of getting an aftermarket 100 cell and make it interchangeable with a section of straight pipe so I can put it on and off anytime. Any brand recommendations??
My main concern is will a 100 cell will be enough to do the oxidation? Or should I go with a 200 cell instead? I do prefer the lesser restriction though, if i ever need to leave the cat on long term, since the car is supercharged.
Thanks in advance.

I have the dynocomp hi-fo cats and they work well. Might be able to get them shipped, they have the straight pipes that bolt in place when you want to remove them. I think they are 200 cel and pass here (Arizona)

Does your tune suppress the dash light, usually if they do that, they make the catalyst channel not ready and MA let's you have one not ready - I do this on my 335i, catalyst is always not ready with my tune and it isn't an issue with inspection as long as the rest of the stuff is ready.

There are too many threads with about every single setup done and how to pass emissions with that setup in each state. Just requires a bit of searching.
