anyone tested the v6 burble tune on their catless set up? does it burble more or somewhat equal? does it add to it or make it sound worse
will having the flame tune mean mpg will drop slightly?

Am having the same problem with the V6 tune as already described
scenario:
Lift at ~4000RPM
Let engine compress down to 3500RPM
Get back on throttle and it jerks forward violently at the first touch of the throttle.
Hopefully Eurocharge can help with a fix or I'll be going back too the V5 aswell
I've asked too have the V6 tune without any burbles, crackling etc as I personally think the sound doesn't suit the V8 AMG imo.

I got my V6 tune with burbles yesterday. However, I'm holding off on installing the tune (per Jerry) until this gets resolved.
It would help everyone if EC could post some videos of the tune with burbles and the flame tune. It would help customers decide if they like it or not before they place their orders. And avoid a lot of re-tuning since many don't seem to like the added burbles.

Jerry sent me the updated tune with a super fast turnaround. Went for a short drive and everything seems to be fantastic. Will drive more and report back with a new review. I will try and update my original review as well as I test the tune out more.

I completely understand the decision to discontinue that service considering it takes time to create tune files and time costs money etc... The notice posted in that other thread was from November 18, 2015. I assumed tunes purchased after said date would fall under the new upgrade rules. It sounds like that's not the case and it was a blanket statement.
If that's the case, I can see why pre Nov 18, 2015 clients would be upset if the service that they paid for has been revoked. IMO, if the initial cost of the service was miscalculated, that's not the clients problem.
This has nothing to do with the cost of the upgrade. The current upgrade price is reasonable. It's the principle of adhering to the original transaction.
Either way, Eurocharged is a stand up company and I have had absolutely zero issues with them. However, if my contract (at the time just a gentleman's handshake) has now been revoked, well, that's unfortunate.

Lets put some reference to the issue at hand. I paid ~$1k for the old school bench tune back in March 2012, (V2 back then I believe) where I had Mike and Berry in my home to pull apart my ECU (great guys BTW). I then dished out another ~$500 Oct 2012 for the handheld that upgraded me to V3, AND, at the time included version upgrades for the life of the vehicle (non transferrable) which helped me justify the extra cost.

The tune is great... smooth aggression.
Ran it through many rpm ranges and no issue.
Solid customer service and great product.

I tried making my point by saying it along different lines. Hey you have a 5 year warranty on product X, 3 years in company decides to change to their policy to no more warranty. You would think you would be covered since you bought the warranty before the change. 3 years 1 month in, you have an issue with product X. Call company up to get your product fix, they tell you sorry we changed company policy and cant honor your old warranty anymore. You'd feel pretty screwed over right?
So thats the issue we are trying to project. It's the principle. Like they said above me, if you decided for future customers at a certain date, hey this is the tune it costs $$$ and thats all you get, no free upgrades, the customer knows going in future upgrades will cost a fee. For us who bought it with free upgrades, we didn't get that courtesy.

Just dropped v. 6 in. I had been sent it yesterday but never got a chance to install.
Jerry told me to hold on then, and within a couple hours this morning I got a new file.
Pouring rain here so couldn't really get on it but, my initial impression is.........
butter. Shmoove like butter. Very nice quick throttle response, but in a smooth controlled way and not a sudden, jerky tip in. Smooth application and roll up. Didn't get to run through the gears too much, but that jerky-ness that existed in v5 seems to be gone.
Again, not too much time with it but I did want to give my initial impressions.
Ill drive more tomorrow and give some more details, but so far, in a word, its smooth.

Just out of curiousity - has anyone done the cold start delete? For me that would be a huge deal as with LTH and catless midpipe cold start is basically a shotgun blast audible to about a 3 mile radius. Also does deleting the cold start have any ill effects?

Just let it sit for 10 sec longer than you would then drive off if you want to be extra safe (although not necessary)

So for a catless setup, cold start is not really needed. Except that I NEED that sound in my life. Lol. As a good citizen I should delete it but I don't wanna

I installed my tune tonight, got a CEL P0101 right after the flash, drove it lightly the CEL turned off but the car would not go into S or S+ for a while when it finally did It was shaking so bad I thought the engine will die on me like I was running out of gas, that's with out going over 4K Rpm. Once I tried that it jerked so hard I flashed back to stock.

Was sent a v6 tune (no burble/noise) to replace the original v6 tune I requested.
v6 (no burble) works as advertised. No issues at all with throttle. Very smooth.
Very happy with quick service.
Have not run the v6 stock versus the v5 tune back to back to compare, but does seem a bit smoother. If only worth 5-10 hp worth it.
Not having the crackling and popping is nice, as my wife asks why must every car we own be loud and obnoxious.
I told her that at least the c63 doesn't shoot flames like our other vehicles. I got these looks

Did you opt out for the No burble option? I'm debating what to do.
