Test Pipes ??
After much procrastination I sold my E90 M3 and purchased a 2012 C63 Sedan.
I have searched many threads and looked at a lot of aftermarket web sites and haven't found a lot of info on deleting the primary cats, are there any suppliers of so called test pipes for the C63?
Thanks in advance

Most people get long tube headers to get rid of cats. Do a search and you will fond the popular brands

Why would you waste money on test pipes and then headers? If you do that, you replace the same part twice. I think you need to do more research on the exhaust configuration of this car. Test pipes are not needed with headers. A lot of header systems delete the secondary cats too (ARH and AP come to mind).

I would go row airboxes, secondary cat delete (mikes power pipe or other) tune and then at some point do the long tube headers as they are the most expensive piece of the puzzle and if you get headers that remove the secondaries, you can just sell the secondary cat delete you had as they are popular.
Also - hope you like noise, the long tube headers will make your neighbors dislike you!

Not to add fuel to this fire, or discount what you guys said because yes I love my headers, and yes the stock logs are proven to be the biggest restriction in the exhaust. But my buddy Johnny912 (#17 on this list: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...0mph-list.html), only trapped 1mph less than I did on headers (comparing our list times, on max-vs-max mph he was more like 2-3mph off), and all he had was his primary cats straight-piped.
So it can be effective.

Do you guys who remove cats etc. have any concerns re emission testing? Some jurisdictions up here require cars to go in for testing at an approved shop once a car is 4 yr old in some cases.
