Question about LED for lighting package C63s
2 questions
1) Has anyone ever tried switching out the HIDs and replace with LEDs for the c63 with lighting package?
2) Does anyone know a reputable/decently priced place where I can find a new headlight unit for the front end? My headlight unit has crack in the glass from a rock. I have the lighting package on my c63.
Thanks

2. You could try and get it fixed under warranty but good luck. Besides that, either be ready to pay a couple grand or replace them with depos or something similar, or you can always try to fill in, sand, blend the crack out.

I'm in the same boat. You can buy new halogen headlights from oediscountparts.com for about $350 ea and then take those lenses off and put them on yours. That's your cheapest option unless you want to buy a set of the DEPO HID off of eBay, however I think that the polycarbonate lens may be weaker/thinner on them vs OEM in my experience.
