Oil running hot after program update
Hello all,
I recently had my '13 C63 serviced (oil change) at the dealership and they reflashed the trans cpu with an update. On the drive home I noticed the oil temp was at 233 where it's normally at about 225 or so. I checked the oil level and it is correct. Today, in 65 degree weather, it was at 266 when I parked it in the garage. Also, I usually drive in manual mode once the oil is at least 176. No CELS or anything and it's running fine. Anyone else experience this? By the way, I did use search but couldn't find anything related to this.

Take it back. Something is not right. I never see 260+ unless I am on the track.

Thanks for the replies they're much appreciated. Today, I drove for about the same distance in 67 degree F weather and kind of humid (it rained pretty good last night) and the temp. got to 222 F so I guess I'll keep an eye on it and if it does it again back to the shop it goes. Just strange that the coolant temp. remained well within the normal range at all times.
