Wish that they would include a center console shifter. Even if it's like the one in the CLA where you can't switch gears manually with it. (I like paddle shifters, but I miss shifting gears naturally like I did in my GTI with a center console shifter).

Flat-bottom only is the new trend. The wheel looks substantially thicker though.

Will be interesting to see the final product, there are some elements there of the interior I like and some I'm not too fond of at all compared to the current 204 series.
I too hope a centre console shifter like that of the current A Class AMG variants makes it into the C Class AMG's and would also want the flat top and bottom steering wheel, I have it in my 250-CDI and love it compared to the flat bottom only wheel.
Without a doubt there'll be upgrades down the track compared to the initial release

I think it's the C63's interior for the following reasons:
1. Rev limiter is at 7,000 rpm
2. It has the standard steering wheel and paddles (paddles are basic ones you find in C400) and that's why the steering wheel doesn't have a flat top, and I'm sure they will make an AMG steering wheel available as an option (they started this with CLA45).
3. 320 kmh / 200 mph speedo is a dead give away. I don't think Mercedes would have a 200 mph speedo in C450, that only leaves 220 mph for the C63.
Thinking that Mercedes wouldn't wh*re AMG on C450 is wishful thinking and this is not the final product. Materials used look great, and the seats look good IMO, but my prefer the way my S4 seats look...

Just noticed that. Dislike the white seatbelt look big time. Would rather have red ones just like in my CLA 45 so hopefully they'll let you choose the seat belt color instead of forcing them all to be color coordinated .

Well it is kind of like the E63 interior with what they "silver belts" that matches the silver stitching on leather. Seems to be a trend on AMG cars.
The good thing is you can choose to have it or not.

For example, here is the new S63 Coupe steering wheel:

I love the new standard seats. The bolstering looks to be extremely aggressive. The details in the seats are unequivocally distinct from the standard W205 seats.
I love that the C will FINALLY be getting perforated leather as well.
Having one-piece Recaro seats with integrated headrests as an option = best of both worlds.
I have a feeling the W205 C63 is going to destroy the F80 on three fronts: 1) Luxury; 2) Raw Power; 3) Sound.

Does anyone know what the extra button is for above the seat base button? I see that it is also in the S Class Coupe. Does it adjust the under thigh support?

Mercedes just like other premium brands milks every possible way to charge extra. I guarantee you that there will be a steering wheel option with the magnesium paddle shifters on the C63. They may reserve the flat top wheel for the face-lift, but it'll be available.

Until Mercedes starts offering the flat top, and maybe they just go all out and switch to flat sides like the Aston Martin Vanquish or Hexagon like the LaFerrari's steering wheel.

There's no doubt we're going to see more in terms of those items and other features down the track

interior looks cheap for some reason. hope there are upgrades... esp to seats and the fake carbon gauge. 7k redline is good, was afraid it was going to be like 6k since its going turbo. for steering i prefer a full circle one like in the Ms
man that has to be one of the best sounding cars in the world!! how do u like it? I've always considered getting an F type but I'm afraid it will be worth like 40k in a year or 2 lol.
