I have yet to hear of anyone that has ever bought only two aftermerket custom wheels (one of which has some curb rash to boot) at prices that would buy them those same two wheels but as part of a full set.

By your logic, sinche the whole car is worth $100K, then if you cut the car down the middle with a plasma cutter you ought to be able to sell the individual halves at $50K each. I am afraid you'll find that in reality the math doesn't quite work like that.

Plus, by limiting yourself to the GTA only, what are the chances that someone inthe GTA only needs the rears? Hint: it's about 0 in 6,000,000.

The point I was tryign to make is that people generally don't buy only two wheels - they are usually looking for a set of four. When was the last time you bought only one used shoe (with a little scuff mark) because you either already had the other mathcing one or are hoping to find someone that has the other shoe from the same pair in the right color and size that he is willing to sell by itself?

Or are you perhaps looking for someone that is looking for that exact set with those exact specs, in the GTA alone, and is willing to pay full price on two wheels including the duty, shipping and brokerage fees but cut corners on the rears and save - what, maybe $1K on a $6K purchase by buying your used ones (one of which is curbed) and potentially have othr problems? Yeah, good luck with that.

You seem to have completely missed my point about the two halves of a car not being worth 50% each of the price of the whole car.

You might want to list them on VWVortex where the mod culture is much more prevalent and people like to take apart and rebuild wheels, but I am afraid that even there you will have to ship them if you find a potential buyer and that at best you might get 25% of what you think they're actually worth.

So yes, those who really like this wheel setup and own a Mercedes E class, or own a Mercedes with a rear fitment that works with their car, who live in the GTA... they can go buy 2 new BC forged HB 29 wheels and save good $ by purchasing 2 rear wheels that are slightly used. The scratch is minimal. Not everyone wants to spend $6K on wheels and once installed you will not know the difference between a brand new set of wheels and 2 slightly used wheels with one that has a scratch. If no interested buyers on this forum, that's ok...

This is a FS thread, so I am not sure I understand what result you are expecting from posting, and re-posting the same comments.
