How Much oil Does a 2000 CL500 take at an oil change
I am going to do an oil change on my moms friends CL500 for her and need to know how much oil I need to buy. the dealer said 7.5-8 quarts, but that seems like alot. For anyone who has done an oil change on a CL500, can you tell me how much you used or it took. she has no owners manaul so I cant look in there.

thanks for the replies. It took 8 quarts when I changed it. At first I added 7, let the engine warm up then checked it through the cluster and said it was a quart low. so 8 quarts was fine. its weird though, when I added 7 quarts at first, the level on the dipstick was in the middle. but was still a quart low. anyone else notice that?
