How much is your auto insurance on a CL600?

Please post your monthly rates so I can get a ballpark of what I am looking to dish out.

I do not know about the CL600 but on my CL55 2003 my rates are $328 every six months with no milage limitations.

I understand the CL600 is more costly to insure. And as you say, being 21 doesn't help.

Insurance

Much depends upon location and usage, personal or business or both and coverage limits.
Here in northern California with mixed use and high coverage limits, even with $1,000 deductible, the 6 month cost for a 2007 CL600 is $645. This includes annual mileage discounts, good driver discounts, multicar coverage discounts, antitheft, passive restraint, new vehicle discounts. The carrier is USAA and I have been with them for more than 35 years.

i think it's important to give location, coverage limits, yearly mileage, car year, age, tickets, discounts and ins. co. to get a proper survey.
st. lucie county, fl. 2004 cl600, 7000 miles a year, full coverage 100,000-300,000, 500 ded. geico $714 for 6 months, 64 years old. no tickets, all discounts. driver's safety class.

St. Louis, MO 2004 cl55, unlimited miles, full coverage 100,000-300,000, 500 ded. SAFECO $598 for 6 months, 43 years old. no tickets, all discounts.

A bit of conjecture here: I would think the CL600 would be a bit more. I could image an actuary freaking out a bit over a 12 cylinder engine. They are likely unfamiliar with these cars as they are relitively rare and may also be factoring the somewhat justified bais that a relatively minor accident could total a W215. You may find that different insurance companies have significantly different rates on these cars based upon prior claim experience with the make and model.

All that said, my rates on my CL55 are only $63 higher per 6 mo. than my 2008 BMW 535xi.

I have mine on my old car policy through Grundy. You have to have a daily driver and I get a discount for each car. I pay 398.00 per year with declared value no depreciation no deductible and they increase the value of the car 15% each year. A very good thing to do if you own more than one collector car.
