Where is the drain plug on my CL600?

Can anyone tell me where the drain plug is on my 03 CL600? I am trying to change the oil on all my cars this weekend and I don't see the drain plug. I removed the plastic cover under the engine. The car is a V12 I don't know if that matters.

Thanks so much!!!

You have to drop the plastic pans that are located under the car. The ones under the engine to be specific. You should then see the oil pan and its drain plug.

Thank you for your reply!! After 39 people looked at this thread no one could bother to help out??? I figured it out last night once the plastic pan was removed. It was on the side of the oil pan.

Thanks again and I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

You're welcome. I just went thru it today as I changed the oil and filter in my CL500. In defense of those who did not answer your question, this forum I find not to be highly technically oriented. They probably just didn't know.

According to my CL MB manual for '02, the 600 takes 10.0 qt/9.5 l. The 500 takes 8.5 qt./8.0 l.
