Have it tested. It is more than likely an accumulator or the auxiliary pump or one of your struts may have failed or it could be a sensor or even a block. That is why you spend the 125.00 for the diagnosis. Then take it to a reputable repair shop, that has worked on these cars before and can do a Rodeo on it, once the parts are replaced. If you keep driving as is, you are bound to damage more and more parts, even shout out the main pump.

This is the full layout of the system. There are 4 accumulators They all hold pressure and are filled with Nitrogen (which deplete over time) due to varying factors.

1) at trunk
1) at front block
1) at rear block
1) at dampener

I dont think it is the Accumulators, they are only there to absorb heavy spikes in the pressure of the fluid. A no functional Accumulator will normally give you a red light when going over big bumps and then go away.

Since it is both front and rear, I think it sounds like a abc block that needs to be cleaned.

Unless, he finds someone to do it, most wont. I don't think he would spend the time to do it himself. Plus you have to have a lot of tools to do this big of a job, then it would need to be put on a Rodeo. Like I said, I would take it to the dealer and let them deal with it or at least tell him what is wrong. I personally think the fluid in the system should be flushed every so often and a new filter replaced. I find this will keep debris from contaminating the system. It could be very minor or it could be something major. If he can get out for less than 1,500.00 he should count is prayers.

you say you replaced both valve blocks, but it sounds like that is the problem. anxiously awaiting results.

Prior to changing out the blocks the car would still lift on the right side even thought it was leaning but it also gave the red car too low light at start up now it wont lift on that side at start up only when put in gear or with lift button inside car no Red lights. .

If Mercedes cant figure it out change dealerships. Hope you have another one as close to where you are. We have MANY to choose from here. You have to get a tech who knows what he is doing and has done a lot of these. It could be electrical but I am thinking you have a bad body sensor that isn't showing up enough to send a signal. I am sure at this point you are frustrated as I was. Leave it a day or so, so they can put the computer on it while it is on the ground and then see what codes come up. I think that is your only option at this point.

You said you replaced the struts with used struts - that can be the problem

Did you replace the valve blocks with used valve blocks too?

As others have said you need to stop going to a independent mechanic who puts in used parts and go to the dealer

Struts was used with warranty EBAY ...valves rebuilt got parts own my on not shops fault! Sometimes the cheap way is not the best way and not all used parts are good parts a learning process for me that is why i got on here car drives great other than the leaning issue which will soon be resolved..

Used parts are always a bad thing. Rebuilt blocks are just as good as new. The replacement blocks are the redesigned ones from the W216 and they are for the most part trouble free. The struts from Arnott are the way to go if they need replacing. They warranty them and they use a better seal on the strut cylinders. If you buy used blocks or rebuilt blocks buy the later version ones. Let us know what MBZ has to say. Best of luck!
