Distronic/Oil Sensor issues

Evening all,

I have just taken on a 2005 CL600 and according to a scan that has been done on the car there is an error listed against Distronic as follows - "Control Unit A89 (DTR controller unit) is defective. Research indicates this is the radar unit in front of the radiator but I was hoping someone on here can confirm before I waste money on the wrong part.

Also I am getting various random errors from the oil level sensor - indicating it is faulty whilst driving - but when parked the oil level shows as OK. I presume this is an issue with the sensor so can anyone confirm how easy this is to replace?

Cheers

Ian
