Hi guys, so I ****ed up parking yesterday and broke my front bumper cover on the curb



I have a 2001 CL500. What front bumper covers fit this car exactly? I mean, besides a 2001 CL cover, other CL years or what about S class bumper covers?


I just want to replace with the same thing and continue to use my mesh inserts on the new one. **** I am pissed!!! I would like to find a used one, I dont care as it needs to be painted, as long as it is in good shape.

Is there two kinds of front bumper covers which were offered on a CL500 in 2001? Amg style and regular style?

Can you tell from the attached which one I have and how do I ask for the same one? I am trying to source a good price. I can take a better picture if you want.

Here is a better picture of the bumper. (damage you cant see its on teh passenger side bottom)

Yours is the AMG bumper. The replacement should be from an 00-02 donor car. Ebay or a salvage yard is your best bet.

So it seems that the bumper i have is really rare. I cant really find replacements on ebay.de or even ebay.com. There are plenty of the other bumpers, at a good price.


If I change out to the other bumper, what else needs to be changed besides the mesh? Anything?
