Its going to hurt, that's part of owning the car. I think its high but if it has perfect records and history it doesn't matter. It going to break and you going to either get dirty or pay a but load to fix it. I have a 02 cl500 with only a tad bit more miles and I didn't even pay half that. I banked the rest of the money to pay for problems as they arise. I was about to get rid of the ABC immediately but for now it works so I don't bother with it. I had to change a abc hose already and the radiator, and the coolant hoses, and fix the radio. That was the first month. When I drove it, everything was perfect though...Know what you are getting into. A member on here said it best, its like having a mistress with a cocaine habit. When she is good, she is great, but she will go bad at moments and your going to have to deal with it. I have no regrets and planned for the worse buy paying much less than what you are about to....for that much I want a CL55 AMG

2004 CL500
sounds a little high to me too. As far as the maintenance, I know a lot of members have lost their a$$. My experience has been different. I've owned my 2004 CL500 for 5+ years and it has been flawless. Only costs have been normal maintenance- brakes, tires, light bulbs, A & B service. That's it. Nothing else. Freakin love this car! It rocks
