ABC Fluid substitution

I am new to this forum with 02 CL 500. I also have a BMW 840. I have not had to do any work on either car's hydraulics...yet. On BMW forum a member states that he uses Kubota Super UDT hydraulic fluid and just mixes it with his CHF 11 and says it is fine. He says Kubota hydraulic requirements are way more demanding that are our suspensions, brakes(BMW), and steering systems. The fluid is very inexpensive, like $5.00 a quart and $98.00 a five gallon bucket. I would surely feel good about flushing my fluid at that price. Has anybody here tried something like this?

CL is faster. You sit lower in the 840 and it handles pretty well. It does not have hydraulic suspension. It used the same Pentosin fluid and a single accumulator (brake bomb) for the power booster for the brakes and the power steering.
There are a lot of modifications you can do to them I just put in a six speed manual and limited slip diff.
I just hate to pay the high price of the fluid if it isn 't necessary.

That's a good price. The fluid from Kubota is still less than half. I hav two cars that use it. If I want to flush the CL500 is will cost $300.00. I could flush both cars for under $100.00. I just need to make sure it is safe to use. For BMW I found one guy who says he's been using it for years. Looking for confirmation for the Mercedes system too.

Also, with Differential ratio change and Six speed conversion the fun factor in the BMW 840 went way up. Finding errands to run just to drive it some more.
