Automatic trunk delay ????

Hello all Back Again.

I seem to be running into a lot of miscellaneous problems, wondering if it has to do with my battery going completely dead.

My auto trunk button works going up , but is only staying up for about 10 seconds then it starts coming down by itself it is not closing and locking like when I hit the close button, it just comes down and sits there.

Is there a timing delay you set up somewhere maybe I lost the memory ??? when the battery went dead

Sounds like your rear struts that hold the trunk open are in need of replacement.

Not only are the struts bad , check the hydraulic pump fluid level near the battery
