CL500 Bose Phone Fitment

Hi All,

Just wanted to ask a bit of advise. I'm wanting to retro-fit a phone to my CL. Now, I've seen that to use a Visseo I need the phone pre-wiring. Now, I appear to be missing that. I've been pointed in the direction of Comandonline and this: https://www.commandonline.co.uk/Merc...t-Kit-D2B.html
and the centre console parts which are £150, then the Visseo which is about £170. Which comes to £800+. Now, I'd like a bluetooth phone integration, but it is not an £800 want.

Is it possible for someone to let me know which parts I can source from ebay/breakers so I don't have to pay the price of a small car just for Bluetooth connectivity

Just buy the Motorola roadster
Amazon sells it

It plays your calls and Bluetooth music through your car radio

Ideally I want to be able to use the phone book facility, and use all of the steering wheel controls. Thanks for the suggestion though.

That will cost you big money. You'll need to decide whether you want the £50 solution or the £500 solution

That was the point of this thread, was to find the part numbers so I can search for them individually and not spend quite so much money

Let me dig up the part #'s for you. The problem is that many of these parts are now no longer being produced (such as the Bluetooth puck you would need), and when you do find them they are pretty costly.

Bluetooth puck? I'm not sure if it's relevant, but I'm planning on using a Visseo MB4. I just need the minimum amount of parts to make that work so I can integrate it into my car. Thanks

Sorry missed that. Your right if using an alternate Bluetooth option you won't need the puck.

What confuses me is for the MB4 to work, it needs MHI/UHI compatibility which I do not think model year 2000 supports. If I remember correctly, MHI/UHI wasn't supported until 2005.

I spoke to comandonline and they told me that I needed to get the telephone pre-wiring, the centre console bits and then the MB4 as I had the D2B phone system and the MB4+ wouldn't work. If you private message me your email address, I can forward you the email chain?

Thanks for your help

I'd re-contact them as ask specifically is the MB4 requires MHI/UHI. I do NOT see any compatibility for MHI/UHI in the early models.

I wonder if anyone would be more familiar with this in the Audio & Electronics forum here.
