Cascade of Issues After Fuel Pump Burnout

So, I have an 02 mercedes CL500, and I started my car and drove it for a few seconds before it stopped, and it wouldn't turn back on. I had to tow it to get it looked at, and it turns out the fuel sending unit was not working, so there was no fuel in the car and the fuel pump burnt out. I got the fuel pump replaced (and am waiting on a fuel sending unit for it to be replaced as well), but now they are telling me that the car won't rise up (through its abc hydraulic system) even though there was nothing wrong with the abc system before the car stopped. I remember pressing the button that lifts the vehicle when I was trying to turn on the car after it stopped so I'm not sure if that could've cause an electrical issue. I'm being told that they won't be able to look at the issue until next week, so I wanted to see if anyone here had any idea if these series of unfortunate events are related or not?
