New adjustable coilovers?

Has anyone heard of these?http://www.yellowspeedeurope.com/man...215-99-06.html

My CL is currently on a strutmasters kit. I'd love to upgrade to these if it's possible to adjust the ride height and dampening

No one in these forums has tried them and posted about it

I'd say try them out. You can always sell the strut master kit easily

Here's an old thread about yellow speed but no one bought them

Thanks for posting!! I'm about a spit away from buying something but want to maintain my lowered stance.
I've been looking into the conversion for a few years now and was considering buying the strutmasters then cutting the springs.
I'll start checking this out.

No problem bro!
I wouldn't recommend going with strutmasters if you want a lowered stance. it's not very difficult to bottom out the suspension with all coils intact. If you remove a few coils it would scrape even easier.
The kit from Yellow Racing definitely seems to be the way to go. It's cheaper than strutmasters, and offers ride height and dampening customization. You should probably get the strutmasters ABC light fix though. It doesn't look like Yellow Racing provides a solution for the ABC warning light issue.

Thanks for the tip!

I was wondering the same thing about the light fix too. Let me know if you find out any other info. I'll do the same.

I just bought a front suspension "rebuild" kit from ECS Tuning so I'd like to do this all in one shot.

Thanks for finding these! I have been looking for some proper adjustable coilovers for days now as I am planning on buying a CL55 as soon as one comes up that's worth having and i dont want to be riding around in 4x4 height. The only thing stopping me was finding a decent suspension setup to replace once the ABC system fails.

I have e-mailed Yellow Speed asking them about the spring rate they have listed as that is pretty high. I know the cars are heavy but that seems like it will be quite hard. Luckily, it looks like you can request different spring rates as these seem to be made to order. I would like it to be as close to stock as possible as this will be a daily for me and the roads around here are terrible.

If anyone does buy them, keep us updated.

OK I thought that may be the case due to the weight of the car. I will see what they say if they reply to my e-mail and post any information if its worth reading.

@tusabes - Looks like someone just did this month...and is running a test on the UK boards. Let's see what their final feedback is this weekend. I am watching and seriously considering biting the bullet if peter gives a good final review and I get to lower the car also.

@OP - If you (OR ANYONE) bought the strutmasters ABC error cancelling module, it would be a great help if you could open the module to take pictures and document what you see in there. Also what are the instructions for that part of the install?

Disclaimer: I am not pushing the product nor am I recommending it.. just sharing this information... and please no negative comments - let's keep this discussion positive and see how he gets on.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

DROP 50 - 100 mm Depending on Application
SPRING RATE FRONT 22/1232

I'll be watching that UK thread as well. Seems like everyone here is waiting for someone else to volunteer first haha.

Is there a followup post or thread to these coilovers? I'm interested as well. Look forward to some info or direction.
