new (to us) wheels for Sherri's car

Have done several searches, but find conflicting info. I BELIEVE the correct offset for an 03 CL600 is +43.

Found these wheels close to me and REALLY like them better than the Lorenzo aftermarket wheels that are on the car now.

http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/wtd/5413270380.html

Being a CL ad, I realize it will be gone soon, but here is part of the description: OEM FACTORY 19 STAGGERED WHEELS AND TIRES. THE FRONT WHEELS ARE 19X8.5 WITH SOME 255/40/19 CONTINENTAL CONTI PRO CONTACT TIRES. THE REAR ARE 19X9.5 WITH SOME 275/40/19 CONTINENTAL CONTIPRO CONTACT. TIRES.... BOLT PATTERN 5X112 FRONTS 19X8.5 +43 OFFSET. REARS 19X9.5 +43 OFFSET.

The Lorenzo's are +40 off set, but are not factory.

I did pull one of the Lorenzo's this morning and measure old school way for "back spacing" and was going to measure the new ones the same way to make sure they are close.

Any reason to think these won't fit?

As always thanks for the help.

Be careful of China made replicas
Check all the markings on the rear of the wheel to see where they are made

You can get replica wheels brand new for about $500-600 a set at places like OE wheels llc and power wheels pro

As for the offset yes those should fit

The rear tires are a bit big. Those wheels should really have 275/35/19, but they will fit OK.

Yes, aftermarket wheels aren't as good, but OE wheels get damaged by potholes as well. Ask me how.......

Not Chinese. AMG logo just didn't show up well in his pics because of the lighting.

Not a scratch on them. Tires are better than described. I cannot use the old lug bolts from the Lorenzo wheels, as the mounting flange on the MB wheel is about 3/4 (19mm) thicker than our current aftermarket wheels. Have to wait on the correct lug studs. Like having a new toy on Christmas that I can't play with yet.

Was able to talk him down a bit on price. He balanced them for us as well.

Very pleased with this purchase. I just barely paid more than I would have for good tires, shipped mounted and balanced.

Had to order some lug bolts. The Lorenzo wheels take a conical shaped seat, and the MB wheels take a ball shaped seat. Also, the bolts on the Lorenzo wheels were not near long enough.

Finally installed them this evening, and they look great. Already have my old wheels and tires sold. They are coming to get them this weekend.

Very happy with this purchase.

Fill out the wheel wells nicely.

Slightest rubbing at full turn, but that's it.

Thanks. The Lorenzo chrome wheels went on a buddy's black CL. They look better on the black car than they did on this silver one.
