Instrument Cluster issue
Anyone know the best way to repair the instrument cluster in our cars?
The dial on the left that's supposed to dim the cluster no longer works.. along with a few other issues.

The issue was a clogged reed valve.
I noticed the passenger footwell was damp today. A few hours with a hairdryer and towels and she's good as new.. Other than the SRS code on the dash.
I was worried the SAM was damaged, but I think it will be okay. I took it on a test drive and all of the symptoms are gone. No more codes on the dash for "TPMS, brake, left signal lamp, display defective, right plate lamp" in addition to flickering head/taillights.
Does the SRS code have to be reset with a scanner? Since everything works fine now I think the code would go away if it were reset.

You need to pull up the passenger carpet and thick foam underneath
Just blow drying the top won't help. There is an electrical wiring raceway underneath the foam under the carpet , where water flows back and forth as you drive - unless you pull the carpet and foam , dry it out , jack up the car from the rear so all water runs to front

Any advice on the SRS message?
