That's my problem, I'm trying to find the dash fuse box as I need to replace three fuses to make my repaired dash work. My car doesn't have the fuse box in the location it states in the manual. Can't post the vin at the moment as I'm on holiday and the car is at home.

So we are supposed to FA looking for the fuse while your on vacation---I doubt it---there are many changes therefore when you get back post the VIN and once again WTF you are specifically looking for!!

If you don't think it is there is this because you actually have taken the panel off, or because...what?
Actually, enjoy your holiday and come back to us when you have a definitive answer.

Thanks for getting back to me, I have taken both covers off and there is no fuse box either end hence my problem.
I'll take some photos and post them when I get back the weekend.

Hi tusabes, thanks for your reply, it's the dash one I don't seem to have that's causing me the problem! I was hoping that someone would know where it may have been relocated to for the 2002 model?

I am looking at A 000 545 15 00 - Information page for relays and fuses. For 220 and C215 (W215 -) I cannot locate a listing for fuse 78 and 86. Where did you get this information from ? On the information page are no fuses listed for the dash. But for: Instrument cluster fuses are shown as: f20, f21,f22 - Location: Engine compartment - left -
Perhaps this information might be of help....

Calgary, you are a star! I had a look in the location you suggested and there were a couple of fuses missing. (Car has just come back from mot when the dash failed completely) I surmise that the garage pulled a few fuses trying to get the dash to work again and left some out. I replaced all of the fuses and I now have a working dash. Thanks so much for all you guys help. Ps I'm in the UK Wiltshire.
