My cup holder fixes
Just like my Audi, the front cup holder leaves a lot to be desired. When pulled out it's pretty wobbly and putting anything more than a 2oz cup in it seems a bit scary.
My first fix was just to make it more stable when opened. I used a little rubber black foot that, placed in the right area, rests the cup holder on the edge of the console. I've had a 24oz cup in it now without gritting my teeth the entire ride.
My second... I didn't realize the thing was supposed to pop out on it's own! I was manually pulling it out when I wanted to use it.
Yesterday while trying to tweak it I found out by mistake the whole unit pulls out.
After some examination I discovered a flat spring that evidently was supposed to be held but the plastic where it had broken. I folded over the spring, put a dab of Gorilla Glue to hold it, lubed the whole thing with Graphite and viola, when I push down on it, it pops out.

No and don't do it the way I said. The cup holder fits in so tightly that the glue on the back caused it to bind when I put it back in the car. It works, but not smoothly.
I might dremel some plastic away so after re-gluing it, it sits flush.
Unless I can figure out a better way to keep the spring in place.
BTW you can buy a new one on eBay for $150 but I'm a cheap SOB.
