Rear passanger window won't close

Last weekend I had all my windows down in my car, and I mistakingly left my ignition key in the on position. After a number of hours my battery died, and I had to jump the car. It started right up however my right rear window would not close. My left rear window seem to be out of sync as it would close and then drop down the little bit and then drop down a little more. That seems to have corrected itself at this point, but I cannot get my right rear window closed. I've checked all the fuses and it's not a fuse. I removed the relay which I believe is for the rear window defroster, and examine the relay however it still does not work. I am also unsure of which relay operates the rear windows. As the fuse diagram does not specify. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks Ken

You can close your windows in a variety of ways----none of those ways(key fob, rear window switch) works for you------??

I have tried every way to close the passenger rear window. However, I haven't tried resets mentioned. I'll do that and report progress.

I have attempted to perform a reset of the windows and in what I have read it requires the Windows/sunroof to be completely closed. My passanger rear window will not close at all. It seems like it's not getting power. My thought is the switch, or a relay. The fuse/relay diagram does not indicate which relay operates the rear window. Does anyone know which relay operates the rear windows? I corresponded with one CL500 owner who has the same problem, and he said it was the relay. Any other suggestions are welcomed. Trying to get the window closed as we are expecting bad weather in NJ this weekend! Thanks

I've seen a few times that the same model relay is used for several functions. If there is another relay with the identical part number to the one you suspect, switch them and see if it clears up.

That was a great idea about swapping relays. However, none of the relays located in the fuse box under the rear seat operate the rear windows. I pulled every relay and I was not able to get the operating rear window to not operate. So now, I'm still in search of the rear window relay. Any help locating this relay, or suggestions to get the passenger rear window to close is appreciated. Thanks

Funny I just ran into the same issue with the 03 CL I just bought. For me I was able to use the switch in the back of the console to run the window up but it stopped working from the master door switch. Need to diagnose if it's the switch or wiring in the door convolute. The two rear window fuses are #72 and #74 in the fuse panel by the rear seat. They are the 40A ones nearest to the outside of the car. You should be able to hear a click of the relay when requesting up or down from the switch.

It may be the door control module (the box containing the power seat switches ) it's linked into everything and is a common failure item that can cause power window and mirror failure

Great idea, I'll check it out and see what I can find out. I'm hoping I can get to the module, and inspect a circuit board for cold solder joints. That was the issue with my one close sensor in the door handle. I took it apart, re-soldered the joints for the sensor, and now the one close/open feature works again.

Update, window works!

After trying nearly everything but can't find the problem, I stopped in to my friend shop was a Mercedes mechanic. He hooked it up on the star diagnostics and checked a number of things regarding my car and reset my fault codes. For some reason, after resetting the fault codes my right rear window worked. I think it may of been something to the effect of like rebooting a computer. Anyway, I'm not 100% sure exactly what happened, but the window does work again!!!
