Need Stock Radio's Pin Out for Auxilary Audio & Remote 12V Signal
Hi there,
I have an 02 CL500 & planned on adding an external audio jack & a power sub to the stock audio system. I don't have a schematic nor the radio's connector diagram/pin out so can anyone let me know which pins can I tap from the stock radio to get the aux audio output & the remote 12V signal to turn on the sub's amp whenever the radio is on? Thanks for your help in advance.

No one knows? How about the location of the existing amp that power the stock sub in the trunk? Once located, I can go from there. Thanks.

i believe the amp is in the left side of the trunk above the cd changer.

The stock amp is below the cd changer.
The blue wire will be the remote turn on.
The speaker wires are in twisted pairs...the fifth pair will be the sub. To test this use a 1.5 volt battery to activate the speaker on/off on/off, you will hear it crackle...do not hold it on the wires.

Renault12ts- So the sub doesn't have a dedicated amp as I had originally thought. Great info. I'll add another amp to drive the aftermarket sub. This will take some of the load off of the stock amp so it will run cooler. Thanks again for the info. Have a great day.
