Exclamation ABC freaking out world record

Hi, not that i'm mad about the ABC failing again but curious. I'm going to junk the ABC for adjustable coilovers

I've had front drops when parked last weeks and then, suddenly everything stopped and had the car blocked in high position and the ABC, drive carefully RED light" on dash as soon as I startup

now, my french friend hooked up his DAS and the whole ecu is in error as we can't even erase the error codes.

voltage on module is ok, fuses ok relay ok

maybe some wiring went wrong when I lowered the subframe ?

weird

anyone any idea where I could look, just for sport and curiosity ?

THX !

Sounds electrical. Very possible you damaged some wiring in your repairs, but I don't know where to say to look. There was very little wiring in the way for the subframe drop when I did it.

anyone ever seen the ABC module going wrong ?

I say that because I removed and opened the module to look inside in case
and on the outside back I saw "new" marker written
................ not the original one ? maybe second time the module freaks out ?

your value of 255 is the max value for digital systems, so that's probably an electrical error.

We do that when testing with a new module at work, sometimes you have the new and old ones out and they look exactly the same, so it's nice to mark them so you don't confuse yourself further by putting the old one in and expecting something to change.

How? A dead pump can't raise the car to max and show 250 bar pressure... Just curious as to what happened to cause this.

nope
if you see 225 that is the sensor limit
in fact, it's no longer measuring

also, when the system fails, the valves close and don't reopen until its fixed
preventing the car to drop

i've been told this by my friend who has a little garage only repairing MB

the only thing he and I don't understand is why we can't erase the abc faults
that's why I bought a new module just in case

If the pump is dead the pressure will read zero. Yes it won't drop, but it won't jack up past normal height. You have some other sort of problem going on.

I sure have
front was dropping sometimes stationary
and all the time after parked a few hours, but not when I parked on position high

and, as I said, i'm afraid the module is not working correctly
