W215 Flex Disk advice please
Happy 2017 to all :-)
Dodged a major bullet yesterday: 2003 CL500 sitting in a huge pool of hydraulic fluid! ABC - for sure! Wife gets free towing so for grins I towed it to a local shop, and they reported that it was NOT ABC fluid, but rather a plastic sensor fitting on the transmission had let go. $260 versus a YellowSpeed coilover conversion and 4 days on my back :-)
BUT
they report that my Flex Disks are cracked and need replacing. Therefore my queries:
1) must the driveshaft and exhaust system be removed, or will flex disks come out with driveshaft in place by simply prying? I searched and find this is true for many sedans, but curious for specific W215 experiences.
2) anyone have part numbers for 2003 CL500 front and rear?
Any info and of course advice is most appreciated.

You can remove the flex-disc with out dropping the exhaust. What I have seen happen, when removing the flex disc you take out the center support bushing out when you slide the driveshaft back. I did this service with center support bearing on my w220 s55 and it was a huge improvement and my disc were not even falling apart.
