as u all know this car is 10 year advanced of its time
many models have an aux input in the glovebox, but many also dont

there is alot of threads here about the aux , but none really say if u can fix an aux or not.

please let me know if there is anyway to play songs on the car from the phone.

fm transmitters r no good prefer an AUX.

If you want an aux you will have to take the head unit out and solder in a wire and an aux connector. Don't know where to...someone will.

i dont think its a good idea to change the whole original head unit and install an after market one
if there is a way to add a wire and an aux connector from inside the head unit it would be great
but we need the process and steps if possible

Yes...they are the same. The W215 is a 220 coupe.

There is not desk tape cassette in the w215 cl 2003

There is in some of them. The same way the screen lifts to reveal the cd drive it lowers to reveal the cassette slot. But not all...depends on market. Where are you?

In a 2003 there should be the aux port in the glove compartment. In the 2004+, it got a different unit and no aux port, but added bluetooth I think?

That pictured unit is the early style, like 99-2001 I think.

No the older units had a separate screen and keypad
But there were different versions across the globe
Japan version is completely different from USA or Europe

The unit pictured is actually the last style to be offered before the W215 ceased production. It's a post 2004 one.

Correct, my mistake. So that unit never had an aux cable that i'm aware of.

Yes its a post 2004 and does not have an aux in the glove box.

Its has a CD changer back in the trunk
