Saks Fifth Avenue CL price?
Does anyone remember the price of the 2007 CL 600 in last years Saks holiday catalog?
I saw one today at a dealer...great looking car! It had less than 1700 miles and the price, with some $25,000 not-in-my-taste chrome rims, was $185k. I was trying to figure out what its really worth now for one of 20 made if it had the original MB wheels but couldn’t find it’s original price. A $160k sticker was quoted somewhere...does that sound about right?

That price is for an S600...I misread it at first too.
"As you may remember, last holiday season Mercedes and Saks Fifth Avenue teamed up to offer customers an exclusive collection of S600 models. The S-Class', all specially-equipped and priced at $145,775, were offered to customers through Saks' "The Gift" holiday catalogue, and immediately after debuting, sold out in an impressive seven minutes."

I have a 2007 Saks Edition CL 600. I bought it from a collector about 2.5 yeas ago. It has 40,600 miles on it. I am looking to sell it as it does not work anymore for my growing family. What would a fair price be to sell it? Does anyone know someone who would like a really unique and exclusive (1 of 20 ever made) car?

Saks CL 600
The exclusivity issue aside, the CL600 has one of the steepest rate of price decline I have ever seen. I bought mine at 3 years old with 8k mi for 60% sticker and sold it 4 years later with 45k mi for 20% sticker I had owned one for several years and was plaqued by frequent trips to the dealership for major repairs. Service writers claimed this was more common place than not! The car was under extended warrantee so not much harm. It was a Renntech car and I loved the torque the car generated and the smoothness that no V-8 could ever seem to match. Whether someone will value the Saks moniker enough to add to the sale price is questionable at best.
