Need buying advice/tips for a 2008-2010 CL600 or CL65??
I will be in the market soon to purchase a 2008-2010 CL600 or CL65 and was wondering what are the best ways in doing so? Any advise and tips would be greatly appreciated!! Of course, between these two models and years, my decision will come down to the price. I know that the newer models are more expensive, obviously, but I have seen others that have gotten excellent deals that are somewhat close to the prices of the immediate prior year.
Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

MBWorld Fanatic!
Need to know what driving one prefers (tq-oriented urban fwys, braking and tq-oriented twisties, etc); how much of a tech fanatic is one
If simply looking for "status" among clueless unwashed masses, cheaper to buy a used CL550 and slap 65 badges on it
No one "needs" a CL, so would advise to get a new copy of a 65 to one's specs from a reputed dealer (to have lemon law protec and better svc priority), not the lesser models nor the inevitably smelly, dubious used cars; if short of cash would much rather subsist on a new '10 E550 until have bucks for a new 65; having owned/driven '07 CL550/600, '08 CL63 030 and '09 CL65 would argue 65 is clearly best value and most brilliantly engineered among the group (and I'm replacing it w/'10 CL65 until '11 S65 Coupe arrives)
'10 CL65 lacks mid-cycle tech revisions/updates of '10 S65
Perhaps best value for somewhat cash-constrained is to get an '11 S65 Coupe in Spring'10 (with full mid-cycle tech updates); $0 down lease for 3yrs and drive until fully new-tech S65 Coupe arrives in ?'12

03' CL55 AMG
The CL was an S Coupe before it was a CL and the CLK was an E before it was a CLK, the dealerships are still selling the CLK cabriolet until the E cabriolet is available
Now Mercedes is going back to the S and E coupe badging but from what i understand the E coupe is built on a C class chassis rather than an E chassis like the old E coupe
