I spoke with some who swears that he knows all about ABC suspensions and his CL 550 has the "Real ABC" suspension not the "Airmatic" one . I think he might be mistaken as to what came on the CL 550 vs the CL 600. I didn't think "ANY" CL 550 came with the ABC but a version of it, which was "AIRMATIC" not the real ABC which is (Electro/Hydraulic). Now, I may be wrong and I just want to clarify the point. I know 00-06 CL came standard with the "REAL" (Electro/Hydraulic) system but CL's (W216) all came with ABC, "Airmatic",still for some reason they called them, "ABC" and only the 600 series used the real "ABC" system. Am I correct or incorrect? I do know for a fact as of 11-14, all 550's came with 4matic, so you could not get a real "ABC" system but basically the "Airmatic" system only. Where the rear wheel drive cars like the 600 and 65 were standard with the "ABC" (Electro/Hydraulic systems). Please set me straight if I am wrong.

I hope your not talking about a pm message I sent you concerning CL's. I remember writiing you that I had just traded in my SL550 which had the ABC hydraulic suspension and that I know what the hydraulic suspension is vs the airmatic. If I inadvertenly wrote CL, where I meant SL......then sorry 'bout that. A slip of the finger only.
If this post of your has nothing to do with a pm b/t the two of us, then just ignore this reply.

So, 07-10 could have had an ABC suspension? I never saw that in the option's list. How did they list it? What was the package or option code that you had to buy to get the ABC suspension?
