I have a 2013 CL 550 how do I turn on the Audio Streaming. The blue tooth works great for Phone conversations but I don't see anything for music streaming.

Does your vehicle have a MMI (mercedes media interface) connection? It should be located either in the center console or in your glove box

What is the difference between the 1000 model and the 3000?

The 1000 is a discontinued model, whereas the 3000 comes with the MMI attached to the unit

I tried the 3000 and the Bluetooth was cutting out. I went and bought the Media cable for the W222 model with the lightning connection that is used in the USB port. That works perfectly and it charges the phone at the same time.
