2012 CL550 arrived today.....Need quick phone help.

So far, it's all I expected. 24k miles, black/black and more options than I'll figure out.
Biggest challenge right now is pairing my phone. Cannot get it (the COMMAND) to see my phone and my phone won't pair via scanning.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It paired w/ my S550 easily after I bought a VizeeO MB-2 from a MBWORLD poster.
Anyone on this CL board paired a Samsung and can help me out? Is there a PIN I should have or know?
My 2007 S550 used a dongle or puck. I don't see a dongle or puck in this 2012 CL. Don't see any wiring or holder in the front armrest, where they resided in the 2007 S.
Is there a dongle/puck in the '12 CL? If so, where?
Lastly, in the lower armrest was a non-secured "remote". It is hand held size, literally look and has features of a conventional tv or dvd remote....numbers, arrows, vol. up and down and so on.
Could not find any "remote" reference in the manual, except for the garage door.
