Hi Everyone! I dont know much about car maintenance but I have a question about my car that I dont wanna take to the shop for because well, I'm a girl and I know they'll try to tell me whole bunch of crap is wrong and it happens to be expensive. Im driving a 2008 CL 550 and i noticed that after a car wash my car started sounding like a sports car, I hear the engine more than before. I researched it and figured out that the it was accidentally put into "sports" mood instead of its original "comfort". It definitely helped but ever since then the engine noise hasnt really went down.

Don't get me wrong, I love that it sounds like a sports car and wouldn't mind if it stayed like that but I want to make sure there isn't anything seriously wrong with my car.

I would really appreciate some feedback!

That's amazing! Drive the car to our Florida shop, I can assure you that you won't get screwed, however we will have to put you on a lift!!

Welcome please post picture of your ride you may have hit something under the car like your exhaust. You need to take it to a shop where they can lift car up and see what is wrong. The s mode should not make the car louder. something else is wrong.
