Tune and pulley. Also, make sure your intercooler pump is working.
Eurocharged, Speedriven, OE Tuning, RENNtech, Kleemann, there are lots of options.

got a mate who owns a shop that should be able to hook me up with a tune, so i guess supercharger pulley would be the best option. With the pulley do you need to change the belt? |

What are peoples thoughts on NOS on the cl55's?
When do the injectors start to max? I assume the bottom end should take a beating? |

Q1. When do the injectors start to max? A1. The wet system has its own Fuel/Nitrous injectors and are totally independent to those of the fuel injection system. Dry systems are possible but require far more management. Q2. I assume the bottom end should take a beating? A2. Big misconception, If you have a progressive system (highly recommended) then the surge of additional power is gentle on all components especially the transmission. I have been running Nitrous on a BMW840 for 2 year, however I am about to buy a CL55 AMG 500BHP due to the extortionate cost of N2O in the UK and an 11lbs bottle was only lasting 1 minute or 4-5 runs down the strip. Small shots on supercharged or turbo'd engines give impressive gains. If you wish to go down this route talk to these guys http://www.noswizard.com/ Perhaps you or someone can answer my question. Does the CL55 AMG use forged pistons. This is also VERY important for Nitrous due to the increased cylinder pressures. If you get greedy (like me) one of the first things to give out are the ring lands on cast pistons. Last edited by RichN2O; 02-17-2012 at 08:46 AM. |
