Offset has nothing to do with clearing calipers. The face of the wheel or "disk" type determines that. But to answer your question, if you stayed with the same sized wheel (9.5) and got a 48mm offset, your wheel would move out a total of 12mm. R.K. |

I knew some about offset but should have researched more before I posted. I need to make sure the pad space allows enough room to clear the calipers. I'll measure that. moving on 12mm is fine. Thanks.

I ordered my set of wheels for my CL65 a month ago. I should have them in 2 months. Going to be running a 20x9 on the front and a 20x10.5 on the rear. R.K. |

Damn wide!! Can't wait to see what they look like. I just measured the pad space. You have 1.25" from where the hub ends to where the caliper needs to clear a rotor. As long as you have that, you'll clear both the front and rear calipers fine. That's with about .25 of clearance, too. You could do it at 1" but that is too damn close for my taste.

I know . I've done all of my research. It took me over 3 months to figure out the ideal fitment. I will post pics of the car once they are on. I will be running a 305 out back as well. If they fit how I think they will fit with the offset I chose, it will be money. BTW I won't give out any specs on the wheels.R.K. |
