Question regarding Lowering Module
Just ordered a Lowering module for the CL and dropped the car off to get the module installed, when I got there on Saturday the White ABC Warning light was on drove the car a few blocks and drove super stiff (its normal to do that when it's in Safe Mode) had the car scanned and the code came as Right Rear Plunge Sensor which is suppose to be the internal sensor in the shock, the guy tried to erase the code but it came back right away so just wondering if any of you guys that installed your lowering modules ran into any issues, the installed says he triple checked all the wiring and it looks good.
Thanks
Thanks

If the error only occurred AFTER the module was installed there is a problem with the wiring, harness or the unit itself.
What module did you get ?

Something went wrong with the installation process. When you lower the car, does the front end drop and the rear go up? Thats a common problem with the CL's. You need to swap the wires for the rear.

nope since the ABC light comes on right away I cannot lower or raise the car with the module or even with the factory Raise button (does not react)

Im assuming that so I will have it removed back to stock
The car is by Lorenzo...
I currently still have lowering links in the car but I talked to a few ppl and they said that would not cause my problem

I was reading the install guide (User Manual) on that link. Wonder if this is part of the problem as the manual only lists 2006+ CL's. Not sure if the wiring is the same, but I think not.

I guess I can have him check that as well, Thanks today will be the last Trouble shooting day before the Module is completely removed and put back to stock, in which case the ABC light should go off

going a bit nuts here all the wiring is Perfect and still getting a code for Right Rear Plunger Sensor, the Shock in the back is changed and still same issue could the Module itself be defective?

Yes I have done some research since installing it and seen that ppl have had issues with them, however what threw me most off is the fact that the module I bought is the same as the Renntech V2, which is the module I initially wanted to go with but because Programma was so much cheaper I decided to buy theirs

AndreNY and Co.,
I also bought this unit about 2-3 weeks ago and planned on installing it today. (was on sale for $599)
After reading the instructions it clearly said for 2006+ and newer. I then called Programa today and they stated that this module will not work with ABC. (DO NOT INSTALL)
I explained that I purchased the unit based on their website listing the unit as compatible with 2000-2006 CLs (W215) - they responded that they are working on taking that misleading information down. As I have not installed this module (still in box), they are issuing me a refund contingent on my return of the item (issuing a return shipment label to me).
I would rather not chance this so I am going to return this back to them and start to look at lowering links.

AndreNY,
Any updates on this? I sent my unit back. Did you uninstall? And, if so, did the ABC problem go away?

Lowering links are $100 shipped on ebay and don't require wiring or much brain power whatsoever to install. Just saying.

it did not work I was refunded money from Programma if you are looking for a mild drop Links are the way to go, the reason I wanted a Module is because I wanted to eliminate the "self-drop" the car does once you go over 45 mph
