Just bought a CL65 today.
Hello guys and gals. I've been on here a while, but as a Crossfire SRT6 owner. Nothing wrong at all with those little rockets, since bolt-on's alone got me a 11.72, bolt-on's plus a 75 shot was 11.3, and a 125 shot had it at 11.02 @ 124 with tranny slip. Car was likely a 10.8 car if I'd bother to rebuild the tranny.
The aforementioned situation (slipping tranny under nitrous) made me scratch my head and reevaluate my situation over vacation, and I decided to use the money toward the CL65 instead of a beefed up transmission.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know that I love the car and don't know enough about it. I'm aware of the ABC pitfalls, and intend to do all the wrenching myself when possible. Nothing like having the car perform the rodeo while the neighbor is cutting his grass.
Here's the Crossfire I traded in along with the CL65:
I'm not sure what my wife was trying to express in this one:

By the way, I didn't make it two hours down the road before the old beast started asking for a liter of 0W40.

Anthony, I'm stoked for you brother! I see some big thing in the future for this one... can't wait to see it!
And at least your wife is tall enough to lean through the door... LOL

Thanks for all the positive comments. Today on the final leg of my drive home, I hit a few Ohio potholes in a work zone and became familar with the jack and spare as a result. I really like the design of the jack, and the previous owner was thoughtful enough to have installed a street tire on the spare wheel. This allowed me to complete my drive at 80mph instead of 50mph as recommended by the yellow sticker on the spare.
As for the wife height, I think Kim's tall enough for whatever you have in mind John.
Steve, it will be fast enough at the track, I promise. And if it isn't, a 200 shot will make it so.
And Shardul, the mileage is at 89K, and thanks for the generous offer regarding the computer. I'll be sending you a PM soon.

Kim is a much better fit for me.
Sorry to hear about the potholes!! Hopefully no damage to those nice rims.
Happy to hear you got back safely.
Cheers,

I guess the honeymoon is over, as this morning the beast greated me with ABC and a seat belt code. LMAO In it's defense, those potholes were mother****ers!
No big, I've got Star Das on the way and it's not my DD.

It will likely be slow progress, but regardless it will be full of fun. I look forward to not only the fast track days, but the lackluster ones as well. I'm really liking the CL.
