I did my custom 3 inch exhaust on my SL65 with QTP cutouts, worth the 400+

Just keep the valves closed.

It will pass if the valves are closed, as for any HP gain I'm not sure. Whenever I had it on the dyno with the valves open, always 1/2 way through the run the throttle body sensor would throw and error and the car would go on limp mode. But when I drive the car with the dumps open it makes a loud crackle and pop sound every time it shifts from the redline on a WOT run. No error codes when daily driving, If you can bypass the throttle body error on a dyno run you can figure out what the gains are.

I personally only had the cutouts cause I didn't want to do the muffler delete, so I had high flow mufflers on my custom exhaust and cutouts if I wanted a much louder, sportier sound like an F1 car.
