The car is about as close to new on the paint as possible. All swirls are out and it's a mirror finish. There's a few rock chips here and there, but that's 13 years of wear for you. This stuff is magic, Water just rolls right off. I'll never need to wax it again. 7 year warranty too.
I stored it for winter like absolute ****,
So this should be a welcome change.

Sick! Swirl-free black paint is a sight to behold in the flesh, the finish is just a mile deep.
Look forward to seeing some pics of it out in the Spring after hibernation.

These current wheels are 8.5/9.5, ET31 in the front and ET40 in the rear. The old wheels were 8.5/9.5 ET35 all around. The old ones rubbed a little bit on bumps in the rear with 285 tires on the lowest setting with links.

Spring is here, time for some updates.
Firstly I decided Kamil was right, and I switched back to the badgeless four fin grille. It looks the best IMO. I had it wrapped in a semi-gloss carbon fiber to fit the theme, and overall I am very happy with how it turned out.
Also, I'm going to be moving to Chicago for school. I'll be moving from the Minnesota car scene back down to the Illinois car scene sometime in August. Bringing the car back to its roots!
I'll be updating more frequently now that Spring is in full swing. ABC pump's starting to make a real rough noise, I guess that's coming next. Thanks again for the support everyone!

Ouch, 20s look nice but are not user friendly. Sad to say but these experiences will change where you choose to take your car and how you drive it in certain places. In the end its not on purpose and it can happen to all of us. Good luck, hopefully the replacement will be the last of wheel issues for a while.

Cleaned the intake filters today. Fun fact - the rubber from the filters likes to melt onto the intake pipes. Crushed my fingers trying to separate the layers, but somehow I succeeded. Now a question - anyone know if this hose has any significance? I hunted around for a place it may have detached from but I just can't find one. Anyone with the Speedriven kit have any ideas?

Man I love that you went back to the Badgless Grille it looks dope. Now that you messed up your rim do the Faces in Flat Black and do the Lips in Gloss Black, it will look unreal.
Time to get this thing some new big turbos

Oh I did. It wasn't pretty, that's why I didn't make any mention of it on here.
Ran an 11.7 at 115, making me a little suspicious of another boost leak.
However it was my first time at the strip, so I could definitely work on my heat cycle and launch. I also totally forgot to clear out the rear tank of coolant for ice runs, which certainly would have helped.
My biggest concern is that the ABC pump gets really upset when you give it the beans, and I'm almost certain my trans mounts are going, as I get some noticeable vibrations at 80+ MPH. I only ended up getting two runs in before I called it quits.
The good news is that I'm gonna be back at Speedriven by early July, and I hope to take care of some of these concerns then, if not adding a bit more.

That trap speed is a little low, but you know that. Look forward to seeing the progress and some low 11's or maybe high 10's. Didn't a Speedriven SL600 run 9's a while back. Ask them to throw some of that sauce on your CL.

Glad to see you aren't just polishing the car, but hitting the track.

I don't have much of a problem with a 100 shot or so, but I don't think it's worth it, with the meth injection already in place. Also melting 24 plugs would be a bit of a hassle LOL.
Either way, I'll get the running issues cleared up at Speedriven to run some passes worth posting here.

Officially in Chicago! After some work at SpeeDriven, I've picked up one of their billet transmission pans. For street driving I have not noticed a difference quite yet. I'll post my thoughts after repeated runs at the track to see if it keeps the trans heatsoak down as advertised, if any of you all may have been interested in one.
