HPE hose... again
Changed my oil this weekend and like normal looked around the car while I'm under it, and my HPE hose is leaking again. It was replaced once before I got the car at around 30k miles. I replaced it about a year and a half ago when it blew with i think 42,000 miles on the car. I replaced a total of 6 hoses at that time, basically anything that wasn't 100% dry. Also replaced all 4 air cell/pulsation dampners, flushed the system and new filter. No issues with ABC since other than one corner drops when parked if temps are below 30*. Just need to rebuild the valve block but I don't believe that has anything to do with the HPE hose. My car is not lowered (yet), I don't rally it on bad roads, etc. Now at 55,000 miles my HPE hose looks like failure is imminent again. No way I can go racing this summer with an oil leak so I'll have to replace it again soon.
Anyone else besides me can't get 2 years and 15,000 miles out of a HPE hose?
PLEASE don't reply telling me to swap out the ABC for springs, that's not what I'm asking.
