Bad ECU Linked To Guage Cluster Going Bad?
Hi all. I have a 2004 CL55. So just like all of us we seem to be plagued with the same issues so hear this out...
My instrument cluster flickered and went dark and let out a bad smell a few months ago. After a few days of driving it with cluster still working just dark it juat froze up and quit working all together. So naturally i did what everything else reccomends, send it in to get rebuilt and i did to this place in Massachusetts and got a lifetime warranty as they did confirm it was defective but when i got it back i was excited to plug it in and take her for a spin as I believe it subsequently went into "limp" mode while the cluster was down over the few months so i was excited to get in and burn some rubber! I plugged it in and nothing! I dont know if this helps but my headlights stay on even in manual off mode and my dash lights dont work but the buttons work fine. Help please!

It was an extended warranty which has expired. I paid to have mine rebuilt but i was wondering if anyone knew which ecu is responsible for sending the signal to the instrument cluster or which fuse or fuses are for it.
