ignition coils

i can't disconnect the ignition coil from the electrical connection. I see it has the grey tap u pull out which I'm guessing unlocks it but then it doesn't give at all.

You are pulling the same direction the grey lock moved right?

yea its insane, i see on other cars ppl disconnect them one handed and ive tried for an hour unhooking it. Its plastic so its not like its rusted on. Unless I'm missing a step were I'm supposed to lift the tap or squeeze something to fully unlock it

It's been a few years since I did one so I can't recall exactly how, but I don't recall it being difficult. Sorry I can't help more.

i have a nice 6" flexible rod to reach down into the bolts holding the ignition coils but its impossible to reach 2,3,4 because theres no space with the huge suspension pumps in the way. the engine will have to be raised or something so i gotta throw in the towel and take it in. $100 down the drain..

Once the lock is released that allows you to squeeze it to unlock the main part of clip. The grey lock keeps the main lock from coming up when the grey part is pressed in
