Exclamation Anyone else have a jerk?

On my 2005 CL55 there is a jerk in mid 2nd gear mostly on lower RPMs seems to go away once it heats up. RPMs fall a little bit I was thinking a new conductor plate would help or maybe its the clutch of the supercharger. I been living with it for awhile any ideas or advice?

Same issue here on my 05 CLK
I think we share the same 5 speed tranny.

I'll be replacing my conductor plate + tranny filter and fluid swap once it warms up a little bit.

I only see this issue when the weather is below ~40*F on a cold start. After it warms up it goes away.

I'm probably going have to do the same, please do let me know how it goes.

I watched this whole series, going to try it out. Should be about $300 in parts for everything I want to do

I have also watched the whole series I just don't trust myself I'll probably mess something up, but yet I don't trust any local mechanic either so I'm just going wait till get gets a bit worse then I'll tackle the job.

Took me about 2.5 hours to swap. 70% of that was cleaning up tranny fluid from my arms, tools and garage floor.

Allen key for the tranny drain plug.
6 x T30 torx to drop the pan.
DRIP EVERYWHERE
remove filter
7mm socket on the transmission adapter plug & pull it out.
10 x torx T30 bolts hold the conductor plate assembly into the tranny.
DRIPS EVERYWHERE
Its kind of heavy once it comes out, don't drop it.
Pop the yellow plastic covers off the solenoid valves.
3 x torx T30 bolts hold the valves down.
Pop the conductor plate off and swap in the new one.
Rebuild and stuff back up inside tranny.
MAKE SURE THE YELLOW SLIDE CATCHES THE METAL SHIFTING MECHANISM INSIDE THE TRANNY HOUSING or you won't be going anywhere.

I had some difficulty getting the new transmission adapter plug seated. I thought maybe I had bent a pin. I ended up having to lube the 2 O-rings with some tranny oil then it went right in.

I ended up needing about 5.5qts of tranny fluid.
Test drive went fine, but I won't know if its FIXED until it gets cold later this week.

Sorry to chime in like this but im having a similiar problem with my 2004 S55 with a 722.643 gearbox.

The car doesnt shift out of 1st gear until it hits about 4,000 to 5,000 revs, then lurches into 2nd gear. It seems to do it across all temperature ranges, from cold to hot.

The following code came up on STAR so someone mentioned i should change the conductor plate and my indy said to change the valve block, i thought they were both the same thing?

P2222 - The signal of component Y3/6b1 (Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor) and/or Y3/6S1 (Starter Lockout Contact) is implausible.

Would the 2 parts mentioned above come with a new Conductor plate or are they seperate?

Cant really seem to tell from the pictures above.

Yes Y3/6b1 & Y3/6S1 both come with the new conductor plate.
The only thing you move over from the old assembly are the solenoids (in red in your picture)

I'm happy to report my transmission is shifting buttery smooth after the parts swap. Still waiting for it to get below 30*F, that's when the problem really showed itself.
