am getting a cl65 and need advice from current cl owners as to which colors look best on this car. grateful for any suggestions.

I don't own a CL, but nothing can go wrong with silver.

I think this would be a great choice for the CL65 and am trying to get mine in this color if possible. Have they released all the color choices for the 2005 CL600- they are the same for the CL65.

If you go dark, Obsidian Black and Tectite Gray is nice. For a light color, Silver is always a winner, but very common.

Pewter looks great on the CL as well.

The new Flint Gray is also a nice color and very different.

I just ordered mine in designo graphite (sorry I was confused about the slate). They were not able to tell me what the price premium will be, but this is the only gray color I like. Tectite is not available and flint is a delayed intro.

In the past, designo is a $10,000 option. I would imagine this will hold true for the 2005 model year as well.

don't think u can go wrong w/any color; personally, I'd get one of the darker colors which make the cl look really mean, and especially since the wheels are sort of a grey color, I think that will set the car off if its any variation of dark grey/black.

Black looks awesome on CL AMG models. Trust me you won't go wrong with black.

In my opinion brilliant silver and black are too plain for a CL65. It would be fine on a non-AMG car, but we're talking about a 65 here. Personally some of my favorite CL colors include tectile grey, bordeaux red, pewter silver and horizon blue.
