Did it seem faster than your 55's?

It was a rush to drive. The 740 ft torque were noticable... and incredible.

How is the throttle respose? Turbo Lag? I hate turbo lag. I had an MR2 Turbo before. Just hate waiting for the response. I also drove a Mits Elipse Turbo for a week, and that lag killed me too.
I actually think the E55 has a bit of a lag with the supercharger, but not to bad. I just wondering if I should put money down on an 65 or wait to the new 65 comes out in 2 years with a possbile 700hp. With 700 hp, I don't think the lag would be that bad. amgB

If you don't need the additional seats in the back get the SL65.
Lag is minimal and the power is addicting! Schiznick |

But I'm not saying I will not own a SL65 one day, give me some time and soon I will own a SL65 too ![]() And then Schiznick, we'll ride around Atlanta and Orlando together... just to be fair ![]() Enjoy your SL65! I envy you! |

I was thinking about getting an CLS65, but the thought of spending that much money, I want that car to be the fastest thing out there(stock). But, I don't want to be getting a 65 and have it be replaced in 1 year with a 700hp version of the 65. So, if I plant that much money, it better be the fastest thing out there for at least 3 years. The SL is so sexy, but I got a family and a need to take customers in my back seat. That is why my E55 is pretty perfect right now. But 700+lbs of torque just sounds so awsome.
