brand new CLA - Park Assist Useless?
Hi guys,
I just bought a brand new CLA 250 with the Active Park Assist option. I have spent 2 nights trying to get the damn thing to park itself. I am posting here after 15 close calls. The car wants to drive onto the side walk or into another parked vehicle.
Most of the times, it does not detect a parking spot.
Is anyone else having this same experience. The way MB sells this feature is as if its magic.
I'm highly disappointed and having buyers remorse. The car is not even a week old. My buddy's Ford Focus can park itself and it cost quarter the price.

it sounds like it wasnt properly shown to you. it looks like close calls, but its very accurate. this being said as a MB salesman. ive never had one problem from it.
